Christ University Bannerghatta Campus commemorated Navy Day 2023 with various activities including parades, cultural programs, and discussions. These events aimed to underscore the significance of the Indian Navy and the National Cadet Corps (NCC) in fostering leadership, discipline, and national unity among the youth. Navy Day, observed on December 4, honors the Indian Navy's role and achievements. The celebration emphasized the navy's vital functions, including safeguarding maritime interests, ensuring national security, disaster relief, and contributing to global peacekeeping efforts. The University's Director, Dr. Fr. Varghese T K, delivered a keynote address, while Commander Captain Sanjay Kumar highlighted the Indian Navy's importance in safeguarding the country during the festivities.
