Staff Tour

October 15, 2023

Embarking on a journey to Wayanad, Kerala, fondly known as God's own country, the staff of St Joseph's Indian High School experienced a delightful pleasure trip organized by the school management. Settling in at the Highland Bristo in Kalpetta, Wayanad, we explored the scenic Banasura Sagar Dam, India's largest earthen dam, surrounded by lush green hills and picturesque islands. Our visit to the mesmerizing Meenmutty Waterfalls, nestled in Wayanad's deep forests, and the trekking adventure at Edakkal Caves, housing pictorial writings dating back to 6,000 BCE, were truly unforgettable. Exploring Viewpoint, Mother of God Cathedral in Calicut, and enjoying a dance in the drizzle added to the magic. A wildlife safari in Mutanga forest provided a rare glimpse of animals, respecting their natural habitat. Enroute, fun games like Anthyakshari and Dumbsherads in the bus made the journey comfortable. Grateful for the opportunity to relax and refresh during Dasara Vacation, we extend our thanks to the management and Fr. Headmaster for this enriching experience.
