The Annual General Body meeting of the Parent-Teacher Association took place on September 27, 2023, at 6 pm. The proceedings commenced with the PTA Secretary, Sr. Jane Benita, presenting the resolution. Following the warm welcome address, the Finance Officer, Rev. Fr. John Bosco, enlightened us with a concise visual presentation detailing the accounts for the year 2022-23.

In his message, President Rev. Fr. Cyril Menezes underscored the essence of the Parent-Teacher body. A pivotal moment in the meeting was the induction of new members into the PTA executive committee. The Vice President of the PTA, Mrs. Geetha Pais, recognized and awarded cash prizes and certificates to the top performers in the SSLC Examination held in Apr/May 2023.

We took a moment to honor retired staff members, Mrs. Nola D'lima and Mr. Sagaya Raj, for their selfless service to the institution. They shared cherished memories from their journey at SJIHS. Additionally, Mrs. Lakshmi Janakiraman distributed Mr. Janakiraman Iyer memorial scholarships to deserving students.

Rector Rev. Fr. Joseph D'Souza congratulated President Rev. Fr. Cyril Menezes for the meticulous organization of the meeting. Expressing our gratitude, we concluded the event with a sumptuous dinner served to all attendees.
