The 77th Independence Day was commemorated on August 15, 2023, at our school grounds. The event, held with solemnity, featured the school band and marching contingents, including NCC Naval Wing, NCC Air Wing, Bharath Scouts, Hindustan Scouts, and Student Council members. Retired Senior Army Officer Major General George N. graced the occasion as the chief guest, unfurling the National Flag while the school choir sang the National Anthem. He delivered an inspiring speech, sharing historical and current statistics about India, encouraging students to pursue their dreams. Certificates were awarded to NCC cadets. Students showcased their patriotism with a dance to 'Hey Watan' and impressive formations. The institution's President and Rector, Rev. Fr. Joseph D'Souza SJ, and Principal Rev. Fr. Cyril Menezes SJ, acknowledged the participants' efforts and distributed prizes.
