Annual Athletic Meet – 2022-23

The Annual Athletic Meet was held on 29^th October, 2022. Being the first Sports meet conducted post pandemic, it added greater enthusiasm and excitement amidst the students. Some of the events were conducted prior to the Sports Day in order to provide the students with the opportunity to participate in many events.

Inauguration Ceremony:

The inaugural ceremony was a grand event with Mr. Roy Nanjappa, an Alumnus from the batch of 1973 as our chief guest. He was a National Hockey player and the CEO of Life Coach company. He was welcomed by a large gathering of Alumni who took part in the March past along with the students. Mr. Roy Nanjappa spoke on the occasion about the importance of being a sportsperson and awarded the medals and certificates to the winners of the already completed events.

Closing Ceremony:

The closing ceremony began with the colorful display by the students exhibiting their talent and coordination through the Aerobic dance.

Mr. C.J. Babu an Alumus, CEO of White Gold and the president of the OBA of the SJIIAA graced the occasion and awarded the prizes and certificates to the overall champions. He also boosted the morale of the students by announcing cash incentives to the sports persons who qualify at the National Level. The Sports day concluded on a solemn note with the lowering of the school flag and Beating the retreat administered by the captains.
