ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING - PTA

November 19, 2022

The annual general body meeting was held on Saturday the 19th of November 2022 at 10.30am in St Joseph’s Indian Primary school auditorium. The heads of the units from Primary school, High school and the PU College along with the PTA vice president accompanied Mrs. Janet Fernandes the Silver Jubilirian of the High School. They were escorted to the venue by Mr. Ashok Patil the AGM committee member.

The program began with the resolution read by Mrs. Sherlin the vice principal of the primary school. A prayerful beginning with the lighting of the lamp followed by the prayer service was conducted. Mr. Anil Fernandes welcomed the dignitaries and all the guests gathered. On behalf of the Finance officer Rev. Fr John Bosco SJ, the representatives from the various units presented the audited accounts for the financial year 2021-2022. The keynote address was rendered by Rev. Fr Cyril Menezes S.J the President of the PTA.

Mr. Harish, the secretary of the PTA from the PU College conducted the proceedings for co-opting the new PTA members.  Mrs. Lubna Salman, the Vice President of the PTA addressed the gathering and thanked the heads of the various units by offering them a chocolate bouquet exclusively prepared by her.

Rev. Fr Joseph D’Souza S.J, the Rector of the institution awarded the cash prizes and certificates to the following toppers in the SSLC examination conducted in April/May 2022.

Mrs. Janet Fernandes was honored by the dignitaries for her glorious completion of 25 years of service in the high school. Mrs. Janet shared her nostalgic memories of her journey along the silver path. The heartwarming musical rendition of the song by the members of the staff dedicated to the silver jubilarian was led by Mr. Amruthraj.  Rev. Fr Joseph D’Souza the Rector of the institution shared his views on the occasion. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by the primary school.
