All of us here at St. Joseph’s Indian Composite P.U. College are glad that our School and College now have a website that has been renewed and updated. It has a separate section on the Alumni. Kindly click and open that section and register yourselves afresh as former students/alumni of St. Joseph’s Indian High School and the P.U. College which are now together known as the St. Joseph’s Indian Composite P.U. College.

We are happy that you can now directly get in touch with us through this website. We shall keep you informed about the developments in the School and College. All programmes and events of interest to you will be placed on the website regularly. Do keep in touch and we will appreciate your ideas and suggestions as and when you want to give us a feedback.

During the current academic year, we were glad to have some eminent alumni presiding over various events on the campus. These events are all featured on this website. Just yesterday, 6th March 2009, we had Dr. Swaroop R. Gopal, another eminent alumnus and H.O.D. Neurosurgery, Manipal Hospital, Bangalore, as the Guest of Honour at the Graduation Day of our Class X students. We are glad that already many of our alumni are getting enrolled in the Alumni Association and some of you keep walking in to meet the staff and also be fascinated by the changing scenario on the school campus. From the next academic year (2009-2010), girls will be admitted to the P.U. College. That has led us to change the name of the O.B.A. to the Alumni Association. Moreover, it is now a fully registered body.

There is so much you all can do for your Alma Mater. She has grown in a very remarkable manner is the last 104 years with many splendid achievements to her credit thanks to ‘Faith and Toil’, that motto so dear to your hearts. You are welcome to drop in and meet us. With your valuable suggestions, this institution could grow into something much greater in the years to come. Both Fr. Gilbert Saldanha, S.J. the Principal and I will be glad to keep in touch with you all. We would also be grateful if you could keep us informed of the names and addresses and email ID’s of your batch mates.
